I wrote my first "story" in elementary school. The rawness of poetry thrills me, but the structure stops me dead in my tracks. I hear dialogue in the shower and strange storyless bits come to me while trying to do innocent tasks.

Thoughts fascinate me; ugly, lovely, pure, and evil thoughts. Mystery writing provides me with the perfect opportunity to take these beautiful, frightening things and twist them any and all ways.
